Campaign shifts to a higher gear
Posted April 18, 2008
Whew!!! It's been terribly busy. My calendar is so full I can barely read it anymore.
One thing I have learned about campaigns is that it's extremely important to stick to your campaign plan. With all that's taking place, a candidate could change his or her plan a hundred times.
Folks call and urge you to do this and that or this and that.
I've got a good group of people helping me and I trust them. We devised a campaign plan early on and we are sticking to it.
A steady stream of folks keeps coming by my house. The phone continues to ring. And e-mails are coming in bulk. The campaign is definitely shifting into a higher gear.
The Republican Excecutive Committee Meeting will allow both candidates for Sheriff and both candidates for Solicitor to say a few words about their campaigns. I encourage those interested in these races to attend that meeting. It's Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Concord Community Church.
Back on the campaign trail returning phone calls and e-mail.
