I have Arrived!

Hello Anderson, I have arrived! I apologize for not keeping you up to date as I drove along the long narrow road between California and South Carolina but since I didn't have a lap top and it was quite difficult to type this much on the BlackBerry I decided to wait until I got here and would recreate the trip for you. So here it begins......

I basically had one day to accomplish everything I needed to do between leaving my old job and hitting the road for the new one. So the one thing that I didn't need to happen was to wake up and be sick. When I got up I could feel it coming on but I decided to power through the day and maybe it would just go away. Well I wasn't so lucky as I packed, and washed, and cleaned and ran errands it didn't go away. In fact, when I woke up on Wednesday I felt almost as bad as I did in January when I needed 3 shots and 20 days of antibiotics. Needless to say, instead of loading the car and hitting the road I called the doctor and waited to get in and get some drugs.

The first day and already my plan is completely shot. By the time I got home at 7:00 PM all I felt like doing was sleeping so that's exactly what I did.

So for those of you keeping score it's day one and I haven't even gone a mile. I'll update you on day two real soon.
