The Wellness Center is now offering the SilverSneakers, a fitness program designed for individuals 65 years and older. SilverSneakers consists of exercise classes geared toward older adults as well as use of the Wellness Center exercise equipment. SilverSneaker classes are offered Tuesdays from 10 to 10:45 a.m. and Thursdays from 2 to 2:30 p.m.The Wellness Center staff can also create specific exercise programs to meet the individual goals and needs of SilverSneaker members. SilverSneakers is available through certain Medicare supplement plans.
If your supplement plan is participating, the SilverSneakers program is of no cost to you, your insurance covers the cost for you.

This information is incorrect. Medicare Supplement plans do not cover Silver Sneakers. Some Medicare Advantage plans do; however, that is not the same thing as a Medicare Supplement plan. All Medicare Supplements are federally standardized and none of them cover Silver Sneakers.
