STORY TOOLS

For baseball fans who bought tickets to the 2008 South Coast League season and wondered how they could get their money back since the league has suspended operations, help could be on the way.

Tuesday night on the SCL website it was announced that season ticket holders can receive a refund on their deposit of full refund.

To do so the followings steps must be taken:

1. After going to the website (www.southcoastleague.com) a ticket refund from can be downloaded, or fans can e-mail the league and request a form to be mailed or e-mailed.

2. Documentation to verify the purchase of tickets must be produced.

3. The form and documentation must be e-mailed to refunds@southcoastleague.com or through regular mail at South Coast League Refunds, 230 3rd Street, Macon, Ga., 31201.

The paperwork can also be faxed to (478) 314-7255.

The website says proper documentation is required for all refunds. Fans need either an invoice with proof of payment, copy of a check, credit card receipt, or cash receipt. The league also asks that ample time be allotted for the processing of submitted forms.
