Edwards and Mattison crowned in Jabberwock Pageant
LuQuita Gabrielle Edwards is the daughter of Kimberly and Vincent Edwards. She is a senior at T.L. Hanna High School, will be escorted by her father and her Marshall will be Chavaia Dean. Sally Boseman sponsors her.
Jordyn Elaine Mattison is the daughter of Elaine Scott Mattison and Andrew Mattison. Her father will escort her. Annie Sue Evans sponsors her.

Luquita Gabrielle Edwards and Jordyn Elaine Mattison were crowned Miss Jabberwock 2008 and Little Miss Jabberwock 2008, respectively, on April 4, at the Alverson Community Theatre.
The Jabberwock is a scholarship pageant sponsored by the Anderson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Luquita, the daughter of Vincent and Kim Edwards, presented a piano solo as her talent. She was sponsored in the pageant by Sally Boseman. Luquita is a senior at T.L. Hanna High School and is a member of Welfare Baptist Church.
First runnerup to Miss Jabberwock is Alexandria Aliecia Hood, daughter of Senena Hood and the late Freddie L. Hood. Alexandria was sponsored by E. Joyce Green.
Second runnerup is Brianna Raven Strother, daughter of Lisa S. Jackson and John Jackson. Brianna was sponsored by Lori Brownlee-Brewton.
Little Miss Jabberwock 2008, Jordyn, is the daughter of Elaine Scott-Mattison and Andrew Mattison. Jordyn is a second-grade honor student at Midway Elementary School and attends Thompson Centennial United Methodist Church. Jordyn was sponsored by Annie Sue Evans.
First runnerup to Little Miss Jabberwock 2008 is Jaida Ahdaijvuna’ Leshae’ Cobb. Jaida is the daughter of Danica Cobb and Curtis Sullivan. She was sponsored by Attorney Carolyn E. Galloway.
Second runnerup is Shernessa Arbeny Alliai Guyton. Shernessa is the daughter of Sherman Guyton and Regina Grate-Guyton. Shernessa was sponsored by Vanessa Weston.
