The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a white man dressed as a woman who robbed The Peoples Bank at Clemson Boulevard and Salem Church Road this morning. The suspect has been described as a white male wearing a curly red wig, a black and white dress, and carrying a large orange handbag. He was described as being "very tall" and wore glasses.

ANDERSON The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a white man dressed as a woman who robbed The Peoples Bank at Clemson Boulevard and Salem Church Road Friday morning.
A 911 call was placed at 11:13 Friday morning regarding the bank robbery, according to Susann Griffin, spokeswoman for the Sheriff's Office. Police arrived on the scene around 11:22 a.m.
The suspect presented a note to a teller demanding money, according to the spokesperson. He then fled the building.
The suspect has been described as a white male wearing a curly, red wig; a black and white dress; and carrying a large, orange handbag. He was described as someone who is “very tall” and wore glasses.
Bank tellers told dispatchers the man ran toward Clemson Boulevard following the robbery.

A robbery on tax free weekend, thousands of vehicles full of kiddies wanting to go to lunch,I'm surprised they made it there in nine minutes. This particular weekend is almost as busy as Black Friday and December 26.
