Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Ables

HONEA PATH, SC - Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Ables celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary August 2, 2008 with a reception at their home hosted by their children. Joyce is the former Joyce Allen, the daughter of Alma Gillion of Greenwood, SC and the late OK Allen of Ware Shoals, SC. Jimmy is the son of the late Sam and Cleo Ables of Honea Path. The couple have two children, Wayne Ables of Atlanta, GA and Lisa Alley of Honea Path. They have five grandchildren, Chassity Alley Boynton, Stetson Alley, Shay Ables, Savannah Ables and Heath Ables and two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Emma Reece. James and Joyce are both retired from the textile industry. The couple attribute their long lasting marriage to, through it all, "Love Remains". Their children would like to say to their parents, "Congratulations, we love you".
