Rick Cothran named Tri-County Technical College's new dean of continuing education division

PENDLETON — Rick Cothran has been hired as the dean of the Tri-County Technical College continuing education division.

Cothran has more than 20 years of marketing and manufacturing management experience. He has spent the past six years working for Palmetto Pride, most recently as its director of operations. Cothran has also served as vice president of operations for Alexander Machinery. He spent 15 years working for Draper Corp. in Spartanburg.

Cothran earned his bachelor of arts degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg and his master’s degree in business administration from Webster University. He also earned an associate degree in business administration from Greenville Technical College.
