Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horton

ANDERSON - Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2008 with a surprise BBQ at the F.O.P. Lodge. The party was given by their three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lucy of Travelers Rest, Derek and Beth, Patrick and Marca, of Anderson and grandchildren. They were married June 29, 1958 by the Rev. Furman Jackson in Campobello, SC. Joe is retired from LaFrance Industries, and Barbara is retired from Anderson Prosthetics of Anderson. The couple are members of Zion United Methodist Church, where they teach the pre-school Sunday School class, and Joe is a member of the choir. Their great loves are each other, their family, their ZUMC family, and wonderful friends.
