Mr. and Mrs. Fred Maroney

STARR, SC - Mr. and Mrs. Fred Maroney celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 1, 2008 with a reception at Mama Penn's. They were married in Denver, Colorado on August 1, 1958. Veda is the daughter of the late Milred and Edison Posey of Atlanta, MO. Fred is the son of the late Helen Sexton and Fred Maroney of Townville, SC. The have four children, Larry Maroney and Kenneth Maroney of Anderson and Lisa Wiles and Scott Maroney of Starr. They have 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
