ANDERSON COUNTY A slight chance of rain and mild temperatures are expected at the beginning of this week in the Upstate, according to the National Weather Service.
But uncertainty about the path of Tropical Storm Fay has weather forecasters on the alert.
As of early Monday, forecasters are reporting that Fay’s center is expected to reach the Upstate later in the week, creating a threat of flooding from heavy rain, the weather service reports.
Until then, high temperatures today and Tuesday are expected to reach the upper 80s. There is a chance today for an isolated thunderstorm, the weather service reports.
By Wednesday, a threat of rain is expected to reach 40 percent and remain at or above that level through Friday, NWS reports.
