ANDERSON COUNTY Mild temperatures and an occasional threat of rain are expected today in the Upstate.
According to the National Weather Service, the projected tract of Tropical Storm Fay is not expected to create tropical-weather conditions across the Upstate.
The storm has stalled off the east coast of Florida and is expected to move into south Georgia where it should dissipate, causing minimal impact to the Upstate, the weather service reports. If the low survives and moves north, it could bring rain next week, NWS reports.
High temperatures are expected to rise to 93 degrees today and 90 degrees on Wednesday, NWS reports.
And rain chances are only expected to reach 20 percent by Thursday, the weather service reports.
