ANDERSON Anderson police are looking for one or more shoplifters who struck between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday, stealing items valued at about $1,200 from two Anderson businesses.
According to the incident report, a man ran from Walgreens at 2811 N. Main St. with three electric razors valued at $83.97 about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
About 8 p.m. Wednesday, a man ran to a vehicle from Belk’s in the Anderson Mall, carrying an armload of shirts, valued at $1,110. The man “got 20 Polo brand shirts off a display table and ran back outside to the waiting vehicle,” Officer Jada Burgin said in the report.
During a chase by store employees, the man, who reportedly stole shirts from Belk’s on Tuesday, dropped six of the shirts as ran to the vehicle on Wednesday, the report states.
