The Great Southeast BalloonFest will be a drop-off point for canned goods to benefit the Good Neighbor Cupboard. Attendees may drop off their donated canned items during the event at designated tents in the Midway area.
Additionally, items will be collected at the doors of the annual Celebrate Anderson event on Sunday, August 31.
The Great Southeast BalloonFest is an event for the community, put on by the community. The Good Neighbor Cupboard has been a lifeline to many Anderson County residents during the past 27 years.
This is a way for the community to come out and support an organization that has been a vital part of our community.
We want to remind everyone to come out and enjoy the Great Southeast BalloonFest and Celebrate Anderson and when you come, bring canned items for the Good Neighbor Cupboard.
Joey Preston, Administrator, Anderson County
