Ultra Fit contest winners making progress toward meeting fitness goals

STORY TOOLS

— As February is coming to an end I can’t help but get excited about all the great results our clients are getting in pursuit of their New Year’s resolutions. I hope I have been able to inspire some of you to take your health and future into consideration and embark on an exercise program (preferably strength training combined with good nutrition).

What you have to do is choose a goal and then plan a course of action.Today I’m proud to write about two people who chose their goal and acted on it by entering and winning our Ultra Fit Weight-Loss essay contest. Less than two months ago, each was awarded a membership at Coop’s Health & Fitness and the chance to work with a personal trainer. We are so proud of both of them. Here are their results so far.

Six weeks ago Jodi Burdette began the Ultra Fit program with personal trainer Brian Bobo at Coop’s Health & Fitness. Jodi has lost 23.5 pounds and 13.5 inches. She also dropped three pants’ sizes. She reports feeling stronger and having more energy; she says people in her life are really starting to take notice of the “new” Jodi. She looks great!

Her trainer, Brian, keeps track of her daily food logs and challenges her to some fun workouts every week. He is impressed with Jodi and her commitment to reach all of her goals.

I’m really proud of Jodi, too. Great results so far! As she continues the program over the next few weeks, I will keep you posted on her progress.

CONGRATULATIONS, JODI ... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Our second winner of the Ultra Fit essay contest was Scott Reece.

Scott began his program with personal trainer Ryan C. Clark five weeks ago. He has lost 18 pounds and almost three inches off his waist, while adding muscle and strength at the same time. Scott is an ideal client and is dedicated to the program. He looks forward to building more muscle, losing more body fat and feeling better than he ever has. Ryan continues to brag about Scott’s commitment to his workouts and nutrition program, and is excited about helping him achieve all of his goals

As an added bonus, Scott’s wife, Beth, joined him on the program and has lost 10 pounds.

We are proud of Scott and Beth and we look forward to seeing them all the way to their goals.

CONGRATULATIONS, SCOTT AND BETH!

In closing, I ask that each of you embrace the opportunity we have been given to be healthier, look great and have a better quality of life. We owe that to ourselves, as well as our families.

It is so important to live a healthy life and avoid sickness and hospital stays, while enjoying every beautiful day.

As always, I welcome your questions and I am happy to have the opportunity to share my passion for fitness with everyone.
