Better Business Bureau presents Gold Star awards

Several businesses in Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties have received the Better Business Bureau's Gold Star award. Companies from Anderson County that received the award were Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Palmetto Insurance, Phil Jewelers Inc. and Carolina Electric Motor Service Inc., all of Anderson; 1st Class Painting Inc. of Sandy Springs, and Dunn Custom Builders LLC of Piedmont. Companies in Pickens County that received the Gold Star Award were C and W Siding and Window Co., Servpro of Pickens County, Signature Lawn and Landscape and Smith Cleaning and Restoration, all of Easley; and Archadeck of Clemson, in Clemson. Oconee County companies that received the award were Dalco Custom Homes and Regatta Marine, both of Fair Play, Coster Heating and Air Conditioning of Seneca, Son-Shine Cleaning Service of Walhalla, and Crooks Plumbing and Electrical of Westminster.

The Gold Star award is presented to Better Business Bureau member companies that have displayed excellence in customer service for three years. The deciding factor for the award is an absence of complaints against a company to the Better Business Bureau regarding.
