Showalter - Chesnut

t Dr. John Showalter of Anderson, SC and Ms. Pamela Showalter of Due West, SC are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Carly Ann Showalter to Cory Reed Chesnut. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of George and Marie Kellogg of St. Johnsbury, VT and the late Carl and Myrle Showalter of Iron Gate, VA. The groom-elect is the son of Mark and Christine Chesnut of Santo, TX. He is the grandson of Raymond and Nellie Chesnut of Santo, TX, LaVerne Long of Mineral Wells, TX and the late Fred Long. Carly is a 2002 graduate of Dixie High School. She was awarded a Bachelors degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology in 2006 from Clemson University. She completed a Masters degree in Agriculture at Tarleton State University in May of 2008. Cory graduated from Santo High School in 2004. He will graduate from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science in December, 2008. Cory is currently employed as Ranch Manager for Hideaway Ranch in Santo, TX. A July wedding is planned at the Texas Star Ranch in Weatherford, TX.
