CommunitySouth Bank and Trust has announced the hiring of Diane Blackwell, Kimberly R. Blanton, Jennifer Brown and Pam Smith.

With more than 26 years of banking experience, Blackwell will serve as the Teller Supervisor of the company’s Anderson office. Blackwell was formerly a personal banker at Wachovia.

Blanton will serve as a customer service representative at CommunitySouth’s headquarters in Easley. Blanton has more than 22 years of experience in the industry and was formerly a lead teller with SunTrust Bank and a CD/IRA coordinator with First National Bank of Pickens County. She earned her general banking diploma in 1993.

Brown will serve as marketing communications coordinator. In this role, she will work as a marketing/branch liaison for the company’s six offices. Formerly a writer and editor for The Clinton Chronicle and a publications coordinator for the University of South Carolina Upstate, Brown has more than eight years experience in publishing and marketing. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in communications/writing from Anderson University.

Smith will serve as teller supervisor at the bank’s Greenville office on Laurens Road. She was previously a teller and head teller for People’s National Bank and First National bank. She has more than eight years of banking experience and holds degrees in both banking and accounting.
