Anderson University recently named the male residence portion of The Village residence hall the Ron C. Cross Hall in honor of Ron Cross, graduate of the class of 1962 and chairman of the Columbia County Board of Commissioners of Columbia County, Ga.
Cross was presented with a plaque commemorating the event at a dinner prior to the Anderson University V.I.P. golf tournament.
Cross, a longtime supporter of Anderson University, constructed the residence hall in 2002, as the previous owner of CCI Construction Corp. Cross serves on the university’s Foundation Council as a charter member.
