Clemson University has named Roger W. Liska chairman of the construction science and management department at the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities.

Liska has more than 35 years of experience in construction and construction education. He has been at Clemson University for 23 of those years. He served as chairman of the department previously but returned to the faculty to serve as director of its Center for the Improvement of Construction Management and Processes.

Liska has developed and taught more than 300 continuing education courses throughout the world. He chairs the board of governors for the American Institute of Construction Constructors Certification Commission, and previously served as president for both the American Institute of Constructors and the American Council for Construction Education. Liska also co-founded the Construction Industry Cooperative Alliance.
