Upstate representatives in Capital Investment Companies' top 25

Capital Investment Companies has named Nick Yarid of Anderson and Skip Smith of Easley to its 2008 list of Top 25 representatives. Yarid, Smith and the other Top 25 representatives were presented with merit awards at the 15th annual convention in Myrtle Beach.

With headquarters in Raleigh, N.C. Capital Investment Companies is one of the largest independent financial services and brokerage firms in the southeast, according to a statement. It is made up of Capital Investment Brokerage Inc. and Capital Investment Group Inc. as well as registered broker/dealers and their affiliates.
