Mr. and Mrs. Joel F. Barker of Townville, SC announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Dobbins Barker of Lubbock, Texas to Justin Vaughn Keown of Lubbock. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dobbins and Mrs. Jake Barker and the late Jake Barker. She is a graduate of Westside High School and is attending a college in Texas. The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Keown of Anderson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Keown and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlile Holden. He is a graduate of Westside High School and is attending Texas Tech. A June 27, 2008 wedding is planned.
