Mr. and Mrs. Rayford Deanhardt

ANDERSON, SC - Mr. and Mrs. Rayford Deanhardt of Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 3, 2008 with a family celebration at their home, hosted by their children. The couple were married May 3, 1958 in Hartwell, GA. Miriam is the former Miriam Patterson, daughter of the late L.T. and Winnie Lou Patterson of Anderson. Rayford is the son of the late Melvin and Ellen Deanhardt of Anderson. The couple have three daughters, Sheila and husband, Jim Martin,Tonya and husband, Patrick Yon, and Rhonda and husband David Dillingham, all of Anderson. They have seven grandchildren, Corey Scott, Jason Scott, Michelle Breaud, Taylor Dillingham, Krystal Smith, Ellen Yon and Abby Yon. They also have seven great-grandchildren. Miriam is a retired housewife and Rayford is retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. The couple attribute their long lasting marriage to living life to the fullest and to family.
