Emmanuel College adds two new board members

— Emmanuel College has added Wendy Vinson and Errol Stafford to its board of trustees.

The board also named Linda Thomas as chairperson, marking the first time in the college’s 90 years that a woman chairs the board of trustees.

Vinson is the senior vice president of marketing of The Inspiration Ministries, home cable television network INSP — The Inspiration Network. She has more than 20 years of experience in the cable industry and was inducted into the Virginia Cable Hall of Fame in 2007.

Vinson graduated from Emmanuel in 1981 with her associate’s degree and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Coker College and a master’s degree in communication, television and journalism from Regent University in Virginia.

Stafford is from Tallahassee, Fla. and works in real estate development and management. He is a member of the Christian Heritage Church and serves as a member of the General Board of Administration for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
