Candidates in 10th Circuit solicitor's race to appear Friday in forum

Candidate forum schedule

Each candidate forum will take place from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Merritt Theatre on the second floor of the Merritt Administration Building on the Anderson University campus.

  • Friday, 10th Circuit solicitor’s race: incumbent Chrissy Adams and challenger Sarah Drawdy.
  • Tuesday, Anderson County Council District 7: incumbent Cindy Wilson and challenger Doug Hooper.
  • Wednesday, Anderson County Council District 3: incumbent Larry Greer and challenger Eddie Moore.
  • Thursday, Anderson County sheriff’s race: incumbent David Crenshaw and challenger John Skipper.
  • Friday, May 30, Anderson County Council District 1: incumbent Bob Waldrep and challengers Brooks Brown and Raymond MacKay.

The two candidates in the 10th Circuit solicitor’s race will appear Friday morning in the fourth of a series of eight candidate forums that have been scheduled in the next two weeks by the Independent-Mail and radio station WRIX (103.1 FM).

Incumbent Chrissy Adams and challenger Sarah Drawdy will be featured from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Merritt Theatre on the second floor of the Merritt Administration Building at Anderson University on Boulevard in Anderson.

The forums are open to the public at no charge. Friday’s forum can been seen on a live Web cast at IndependentMail.com, and it will be broadcast live on WRIX.

Candidates will make opening remarks and then will answer questions asked by Don Kausler Jr., editor of the Independent-Mail, and George Ducworth, host of the Morning Show on WRIX.

Kausler invites readers to suggest questions for each forum. They can be sent by mail (1000 Williamston Road, Anderson, SC 29621) or e-mail (kauslerdh@independentmail.com).

Citizens who attend the forums will be invited to write questions on index cards that will be collected and considered.
