ANDERSON, SC - Dr. Shannon Beth Galusza and Dr. Travis John Bemiss were married October 4, 2008 at Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Childs officiating. A reception followed at Anderson Arts Warehouse. The bride is the daughter of Jan E. and Mark M. Galusza of Anderson. The groom is the son of Merry and John Bemiss of McClellanville, SC. Maid of Honor was Virginia June Winston of Charleston, SC. Bridesmaids were Brittany Tye of Anderson, Carolyn Sober, Natalie Williams, Dr. Emily Dill and Dr. Kathryn Irwin, all of Charleston, SC. Best Man was Joshua Craddock of Charleston, SC. Groomsmen were Scott Bemiss of Charlotte, NC and James Bemiss of McClellanville, SC, brothers of the groom, Dr. Matthew Edwards of Johnson City, TN, Dr. Jeffrey Sample of Charleston, SC and William Forrest of West Lafayette, IN. After a wedding trip to Jamaica the couple will reside in Johnson City, TN.
