Barbara Stamps Whitfield recently received a degree of Bachelor in Biblical Studies from Covenant College based in Jacksonville, N.C. Shown with her at the ceremony held at Freedom Baptist Ministries in Anderson are her sons W. David Tilley and wife Valerie, Rev. Anthony TIlley and wife Jobeth, daughter Cynthia Gillespie and husband Dr. Mark Gillespie. Mrs. Whitfield graduated with honors and is continuing her studies to receive a masters degree majoring in Christian Counseling. She is an active member of First Perpetual Baptist Church in Anderson.
