ANDERSON COUNTY — Registered voters who qualify to and intend to cast absentee ballots in person in Anderson County for the Nov. 4 general election may do so beginning Oct. 13.
In-person absentee voting will be conducted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. in room 105 in the old Bailes building at 107 S. Main St. in downtown Anderson.
Such voting will conclude on Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. The Anderson County Voter Registration Office is in the old Bailes building. For more information on absentee voting in person or by mail, call the office at (864) 260-4035.
A person who wishes to cast an absentee ballot in-person must bring a form of identification. The acceptable forms are a South Carolina driver’s license, a photo identification issued by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles or a voter registration card. A voter must complete the absentee application and check the reason why he or she must vote absentee.
