Fall Color Hike at the Botanical Gardens is fun for the whole family

STORY TOOLS

Nestled just of S.C. 76 between Anderson and Clemson rests one of the most beautiful spots in the Upstate. It is the South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson University and today they plan to showcase the area’s fall beauty.

Starting at 1 p.m., the Botanical Garden will hold a Fall Color Hike throughout the grounds. For a suggested $2 donation, you can stroll through the gardens and marvel at the awe-inspiring fall foliage that naturally decorates the garden from start to finish.

This is a hike designed for all ages; however, it is not recommended for those needing strollers or other wheeled devices as it will go off-trail and across creeks.

Interested parties can meet at the Discovery Center parking lot at 1 p.m. and enjoy an afternoon of nature at its peak while supporting a worthy non-profit in the South Carolina Botanical Gardens.

The Garden is just off S.C. 76 toward Clemson. Just follow the signs for the Botanical Garden.
