The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) revenue for the 2008 fiscal year was more than $110 million. This is more than 13 percent higher than the 2007 fiscal year. SCRA affiliates and institutes also reported growth for 2008. The Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) reported record revenues and sustained, long-term contracts, according to a statement. The Applied Research and Development Institute (ARDI) secured several new contracts which are expected to generate incremental revenues in the fiscal year 2009.
ith offices in Anderson, Charleston and Columbia, SCRA provides research and commercialization services with the help of research universities such as Clemson University, the University of South Carolina and the Medical University of South Carolina.
