Accused robber arrested

Third suspect still at large

STORY TOOLS

— Seneca police over the weekend arrested a second man accused of attacking a 55-year-old Seneca resident on Aug. 22.

Dreguis Muntrail Webb, 21, 138 Earle Dr., Seneca, is charged with common law/strong arm robbery and larceny in connection with the attack. He was picked up Saturday. Already arrested about a week ago was Randy Shakiem Haymon, accused of the same charges, said new Seneca Police Chief John Covington.

“He (Webb) was (allegedly) one of three who robbed a gentleman in the city,” he said. “A 55-year-old man was walking to a relative’s house at 106 Willow when he was jumped by three young men. He was struck in the face and they took $135 in cash he had on his person.”

Covington said they continue to look for the third man accused of being involved – Alexander Oneil Hunter, 19, of 1200 Fair Oaks Circle, Seneca. He is described as a black male, 5 foot 5 inches tall, 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His street name, Covington said, is “Metro.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Seneca Police Department at (864) 885-2718.
