— An Oconee County jury returned a guilty verdict Wednesday against Timothy Lee Blassingame, who was charged with distribution of crack, according to a 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office news release.

Blassingame has a criminal history dating back to 1993 including drug offenses, armed robbery, aggravated assault and assault on a police officer, according to the release. He was charged after officials said he distributed a quantity of crack cocaine on Feb. 24 this year to an undercover operative working for the Seneca Police Department.

Judge Alex Macaulay sentenced Blassingame to the maximum sentence of 30 years in prison, and Blassingame will serve 85 percent of that sentence, according to the release.
