GREENVILLE The Education Foundation of the Better Business Bureau Upstate S.C. has recognized 13 Upstate companies with its annual Business of Integrity Awards. The 2009 awards for marketplace ethics, customer service and community service were presented during the BBB’s annual meeting Oct. 22 at the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
The 2009 BBB Business Integrity Award winners in the 1-10 Employees category are Ever-Green Recycling of Greenville for marketplace ethics; J. Freeman & Associates, Inc. of Greenville for customer service; and Addison Homes LLC of Greer for community service. Winners in the small-business category are Roper Mountain Animal Hospital of Greenville for marketplace ethics; and Robinson Funeral Home of Easley for customer service.
Winners in the medium-business category are Tuck & Howell Inc. of Greer for marketplace ethics and community service and Palmetto Exterminators Inc. of Greer for customer service. Winners in the large-business category are Glen Raven Custom Fabrics LLC of Anderson for marketplace ethics and Hubbell Lighting Inc. of Greenville for customer service and community service.
In the franchise category, Perfect Delivery, doing business as Papa John’s Pizza of Greenville, won the 2009 Business Integrity Award for Community Service. Winners in the affiliate category are Prudential C. Dan Joyner Company Realtors for customer service and Interim HealthCare of Greenville Inc. for community service. In the national category, CarMax. Inc. won a 2009 Business Integrity Award for marketplace ethics.
