Elmore, Thackson to lead talented Panthers

For the second straight season, Dacen Cash will start the Indians campaign under center. But the difference this time is the junior is the undisputed starter, after alternating snaps with Ethan Martin early on last season. Another question at The Reservation is who would replace Tennessee-bound running back Tauren Poole. At the beginning of the summer, it appeared to be replacement by committee. But the biggest news of the offseason arrived Aug. 1 — the first day of organized practice — when Hart County running back Ren Teasley arrived in Stephens County with intent to transfer.
