Mary Ann Reedy wrote that she wanted "to share my view of Wednesday night's winter wonderland. Photo taken at 10:30 p.m. just off Midway Road in Anderson. The flakes were HUGE...but beautiful. Of course, I might be biased about snow because I'm a former "Michigander."

Pictured is "SC Snow Boy" - "born" 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in our Williamston backyard, writes Ruth Fletcher. Carrot nose & radish eyes, (latter were grown in the little "sleeping" garden at his feet.) He's 3' 8" tall and he'd have been bigger, but the freezing rain kicked in!! We've lived in SC since Feb., 1999, having lived most of our lives in Chicago area, Wisconsin, & southern Maine. This is the first opportunity we've had to create a proper snow person! Whoopeee!!.... But, Oh, SO glad we're not in southern Maine now!! Don't miss the stuff in the quantities they've had this winter with much more promised!
