TOWNVILLE About 10 mini-storage units were targeted by thieves between 6 p.m. Oct. 1 and 7 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 6000 block of S.C. 24 near Townville, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
The exact amount of loss is not immediately known, but deputies have been able to identify some of the items that were taken.
According to inventory reports, thieves stole two utility trailers, valued at $1,200, two scooters, valued at $2,000, a leather chair and tools.
Entry to some of the storage units was made by cutting locks from the doors, according to the incident reports.

I live in the FairPlay/Townville area and this kind of thing happens ALL THE TIME!! Sadly, it's mostly drug(crack)related. These fools take advantage of the "country atmosphere" (not many neighbors)! We have been broken into 2 times, now that I work from home, I have news for you crackhead thieves, I have a Colt Python waiting on the other side!!
