Shoplifters tag team Wal-Mart

— Two Anderson County women each face a shoplifting charge after one of them paid for groceries and the other woman allegedly concealed stolen merchandise under the bags.

Portia Allen, 20, and Laquinta Allen, 22, both of Anderson addresses are accused of stealing about 5 p.m. Tuesday from Wal-Mart at 651 S. C. 28 Bypass at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the incident report, the women stole items valued at $224, including books, card games, Kool-Aid, wall borders and a bath rug.

Each woman had a shopping cart, the report states. One woman paid for her groceries before meeting the other in the store’s lawn and garden shop where the two carts were consolidated into one, Deputy D. L. Barton said in the report.

Kool-aid? LOL!

I'm Laughing too, Kool-aid was what caught my eye. Times must be real hard.

"Laquinta"? Probably conceived in a La Quinta Inn.

Incidentally "Portia" is a drug used to prevent pregnancy. Hmmm.

:-)

Their fine will probably cost them more than it would have to just pay for the merchandise. People are so stupid!

I haven't had any Kool-Aid since WAY back in the day...

Kool Aid was one of the first things that caught my eye too! That's just tooo funny! Wall borders and a bath rug? Must be doing some redecorating? ~~LOL~~

They stole the things they couldn't buy with food stamps...except the kool-aid lol.
