ANDERSON COUNTY Nine more reports of vehicle break-ins were released Thursday by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
An arrest has not been made in any of about 29 incidents reported since Oct. 30, involving losses of about $19,000.
In about a month, thieves have broken into at least 150 vehicles and stolen 2 vehicles, accumulating losses valued at about $100,000.
Terrance Irby, 19, reportedly homeless, has been in custody for about 2 weeks and is being held under bonds of about $250,000 for his alleged role in 85 vehicle break-ins and 2 vehicle thefts since early October.
Between Oct. 9 and Irby's arrest, there have been 120 reports of vehicle break-ins and losses of about $80,000 in Anderson County and its municipalities.
