BELTON A Belton man faces accusations that he impersonated a police officer after flashing a badge, interrupting a sex act and demanding a man's vehicle.
George Gonzales, 39, of Holland Drive was arrested about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday on Pinehaven Drive in Belton, according to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
The alleged victim, who had been parked with an alleged prostitute, led deputies to the Pinehaven house where Gonzales was arrested, according to the incident report.
Gonzales told deputies that he approached the vehicle and caught the man and woman “'doing the do,' and that they should be arrested for prostitution,” Deputy A. Land said in the report.
Gonzales, who was carrying a concealed weapon, was also carrying a “black metal flashlight, a set of hinged handcuffs, two spare loaded magazines and a knife,” Land said in the report.
