    Fred Whitten, 90, of Anderson sits in Avenue of Oaks Antique shop in downtown Anderson. Since the 1960s, Whitten has collected around 1,000 photo postcards showing scenes of the Anderson area, he said. The postcards have become collectibles. He also helped start the Anderson County Museum.
