A cross stands in the grass on Broadway Lake Road in Anderson, where motorcyclist Travis McCoy was struck by a 1973 Ford on Nov. 6 and killed. Anderson County sheriff’s deputies still are looking for Antonio Glover, 32, who was charged — in relation to the collision — with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in a death.

Fred Whitten, 90, of Anderson sits in Avenue of Oaks Antique shop in downtown Anderson. Since the 1960s, Whitten has collected around 1,000 photo postcards showing scenes of the Anderson area, he said. The postcards have become collectibles. He also helped start the Anderson County Museum.
