Well the local Political Action Committee failed at taking control of Hart County.
1 out of 5 of this radical group's endorsment won.
As many know this PAC's agenda focused squarely on Commissioner Joey Dorsey. Dorsey is the most knowledgeable commissioner on the BOC and does not agree with the Lake People. He has been their target all along.
Hey Ricky, What are you and Geneo wondering about now.
Go Joey Go.

Thank God that the mudslinging Nancy Schaefer is gone.
I have watched her cause more problems in Northeast Georgia that were totally uncalled for.
The Black History monument grant, the animal shelter fiasco, and now the theater. What about working with our city and county officials instead of running wild around their backs.
Oh yes, less we forget her comments at the Eggs and Issues breakfast in Hartwell. She said that we would not have an issue with immigration if we had not aborted 50 million babies. There would be people here to take jobs that no one wants.

Lavonia officials continue to be "snookered" by the Cafe.
The owner was right when he started the www.dumba$$lavonia.com website several years ago.
Someone is still laughing at this no laughing matter. It cost the taxpayers in the long run.
What a shame. Maybe Fesperman can make another little Tiawana village out of the property.

This is just another example that tax dollars don't always result in education improvements. The bottom line is education starts at home.
Hart County has new elementary schools, high school and a new fine arts center. The BOE has raised property taxes and will do it again this year. The voters renewed a SPLOST tax to finish paying for the facilities and Hart County is still not meeting ATP.
BOE member Ronnie Weaver should quit attending all of these conferences and cut out some of his spending trips. He spends more than the entire BOE and even more than former superintindent Clark on travel. He said he would be a work dog, not a show dog. Obviously, he is working hard to travel like a "Show Dog" and has been successful. He spent an average of $2500 per year on travel the last 2 years. Check it out at the Ga Dept of Audits website.

Kudos to the BOC for not rubber stamping this critical document. They should be commended for wanting to review the contract.

Nancy Schaefer needs to go.
I will never forget her saying that we would not have a problem with illegal immigration if we had not aborted 50 million babies.
Yep she said it at the Hart County Eggs and Issues in 2006.
She is a nut. All you have to do is listen.

What does the city of Hartwell do with all of the speeding ticket fine money the heckling police department brings in? New Harley Davidson motorcycles are a Christmas present for Reno and his boys.
Maybe the next election can get rid of some of the NIMBY (not in my backyard) council members like DAVID little. He doesn't want anyone driving 1 MPH over the speed limit on his precious Benson Street, but the city cops speed up and down that street all day.
