I cast my vote at 7:25am, I stood in line for 25 minutes, polling folks were super and the people waiting in line were patient and friendly. So refreshing!

There are some hateful bloggers here, no wonder people are in the shape they are in. A lot of times it isn't the leaders that cause our problems, it's SELF! "Whatsoever a man soweth, he shall also reap it".

I will cast my vote and if my choice doesn't win, so be it. I'm praying for the best person to turn this country around and it may not be my candidate.

Your tone when you talk about him speaks volumes. I'm not voting for McCain but I don't talk him down or try to degrade him. You act as if this man has committed a crime against you.
You people?! LoL One of my best friends is black and she has been my friend for a very long time.... people need to get over the skin- NO ONE had a choice as to what race they were born in!

Again-- I don't understand- why do you sound like you hate a man you have never met, a man that hasn't done anything to you?? I've seen people disagree with their candidates opponents before, but this goes alot deeper. Does it bother you because his mother is WHITE and you are a white man and his father is black??

I'm a DHS alumni... I have not attended many games in the last couple of years, but I'm always cheering them on from a distance. This year has been a great year- Singleton Field does have many good memories and several of my classmates have had children play on their team. I will always be a DWD LION!

Sorry but those answers were not meant for me, you evidently got two bloggers mixed up. Please read my post again.
FYI I'm an independent and I'm not belittling either candidate. All I know about each one is what the media says, and I'm NOT the type of person to believe everything I hear or see when it comes to politics. They both are telling their supporters EXACTLY what they want to hear, whether they can perform those miracles or not. I've never seen some many people so uptight over candidates, the whole nation is suffering, it's not just you. I'm thankful I can think for myself and if a wrong decison is made I have no one to blame but me!

This is so sad, my friend knew this young man. I recently became a biker (riding) and I love it! I too hope the individuals are caught and that this accident keeps them from getting any rest or peace. Bless his kids and family.
