I say put Willie Korn in and see how it goes. From the look of the last quarter Saturday when Korn did go in- he dominated. He was acting with a calm clear mind, and none of the errors could be blamed on him. I know he's young, but he's only a year younger than Harper was last year. I think the scores will go up, and the fumbles will go down!!

On Harper remains Clemson’s smartest bet at quarterback

John McCain made a bad decision picking Sarah Palin. Her husband wanted Alaska to seceed from the US Union, how patriotic can someone be that doesn't even want their state to be part of the United States? With her hubby sitting on the board of BP- do we need another BIG OIL big wig influencing the decisions of our failing economy? I have respect for John McCain, and he does defend our country, but I strongle disagree with his strategy of choosing Palin. She was only chosen to pull the Hilliary supporters away from Obama, but I think most women are smart enough to vote for the right candidate whether they be male or female. I will let you know that the day I found out Mr. McCain was choosing a woman as his running mate- I was so excited, but then as I did research on her.. I decided that he had made a bad decision, and I don't need people to tell me how to think because this woman knows how to look up the facts and make sound decisions without all the negative scare tactics that are being thrown out there.

For X million dollars a year, Mr. Bowden should know that running the same plays over and over isn't going to work. Also he should have enough control over his cocky players to make them do better. There is always someone better to take the spotlight, so he needs to be on his toes and take charge of his team because he is the "head" coach and not one of the assistants!

I think with the performance Saturday they would be a good scrimmage for the high school teams around here.

This is so funny! This article promotes bowhunting, and there is another article in the "opinion" section that is bashing the sport.

I'm just glad to see that we're not the #1 party school in the US this time! The Florida Gators are the partiers this time! Maybe they're partying because they won a national championship recently! If Clemson were to win one, I guarantee they'd be back at the top of the list for partying. lol

The lack of education statement is kind of true, but it does not apply to all southerners. I personally don't think the state puts enough emphasis on the high school drop out rate!

Now, as far as all of the northerners coming down south- do you blame them? We've got it made here! Low property taxes, low cost of real estate, beautiful areas, beautiful people, and wonderful "southern cooking". Why wouldn't they want to come?

It looks like tax dollars would be a little more helpful to furnish schools with a little more supplies. I remember when I was in school, and everything was furnished except for our pencils and notebooks with looseleaf notebook paper! I don't understand why funds can't be set up for the supplies. There's a lot of wasting of money by the government though, and our kids are having to pay for it.

I think as many people should donate to help the less fortunate children, but with the way the economy is going- the numbers of children needing assistance with supplies will be increasing in an astronomical rate!

It's sad to hear, but is the author of this editorial a vegetarian? Most people that hunt do it because they enjoy it, and it provides food for their families! It is unfortunate that some animals are wounded, but it happens when people drive down the road as well. Most hunters shoot to kill, whether it be with a bow and arrow or a rifle. There's only a few idiots out there that make the rest of us look bad! It's just like everything else, you see one incident and "ASSume" that everyone is like that- well you're wrong!

I suppose the next thing we're going to hear from you is that fishing is wrong, and that they should ban the hooks because they puncture the fish's lips. Come on now!

This is something that father's and sons have shared for centuries, it keeps kids out of trouble, and lets real hunters and their children enjoy the natural resources that are here in this beautiful state!
