will -- I guess the potential big $$$ of the NFL must be talking a little bit to CJ. I recall, as you do, a video clip I saw about 6 weeks ago where CJ said if Dabo gets the head coaching job, it was "100%" sure that CJ would stay for his senior year. However, words are cheap, and NFL contracts are not!

truckman48 - Tommy Bowden had "lost" this team half way through the season. Had Bowden stayed, Clemson would not have been in a bowl game at all. The Tigers would have finished 3 - 9 or maybe 4 - 8 with Bowden at the helm. At least Swinney and staff got the team into a bowl game and had the team ready to play a competitive game against a superior opponent.

33dtb - great point. And, most of us DON'T make the $100K to $400K + that assistant college football coaches make in this state.

Oops, meant to add this to the first post, but I hit the post comment button too soon. You also got the number of wins in the RECENT series wrong. In the third paragraph, the article states "Clemson is looking for its fourth consecutive victory over the hosts". Actually, Clemson has won the last 4 in a row, and CU is looking for their FIFTH win in a row. See the Clemson 08-09 basketball media guide. Here's the link to the correct page of the media guide: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/c...

Is there no proofreading or "editing" done at all on these stories? Please check the numbers such as Clemson's record -- incorrectly listed as (12-10) instead of (12-0) and Raymond Sykes' points per game average in this sentence "Guard Demontez Stitt and center Raymond Sykes are also flirting with double-digit averages with 9.3 and 0.2 points per game". I'm not a journalist, but these types of blatant and obvious errors really bug me!

Maybe I'm just too simple minded, but it seems really simple to me. If Mr. Hill, a convicted felon on parole, had simply complied with the commands of the parole officers to stop, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE EVER HAPPENED. The cause of this entire incident is 100% Mr. Hill's actions to try to flee from men he KNEW were authorized and armed parole agents. At any point during this incident prior to the first gunshot, Mr. Hill simply could have STOPPED and surrendered. His willful choice to do otherwise is 100% responsible for the actions that followed. Why do so many people not want to hold Mr. Hill responsible for HIS actions in this case?

ConcernedCitizen - I completely agree with you. I, too, am sorry for the pain and injuries this young lady has endured. However, based on the SCHP findings, I think her lawsuit will have a lot of trouble getting anywhere. She, too, needed to "use that degree of care a reasonable person would have used to avoid the incident" as stated in her lawsuit against the driver.

clemson_girl - I agree with you. What 60's year old man wants to marry a 19 year old stripper? And the stripper happens to be a crazy redneck that likes to fight? Is he crazy? That's really a relationship that is going to last! NOT!
