um, did you ever think about the fact that he was joking?? he would'nt be there if he did'nt know how to preach.

and i almost forgot.......every church DOES have its share of hypocrites. every one! but only God knows whats truly in someones heart. not you, or anyone else. which is really who you should be worrying about (yourself) not other people.

ok you have to understand that the only reason they play those songs is because it absolutely has to do with the message. hells bells was played BUT not the lyrics, just the music and it was to set the stage for the message on HELL. duhh. if you attended you would know. every song (by themselves) may not be appropriate for church. BUT they all do in fact relate to the message. and re: the rock concert comment; our music does rock! and its all about JESUS! we are so filled with the Holy Spirit sometimes its unbelievable! you people make me laugh!

ok, ok, ok. enough already. ive read through all of these comments and to be honest im quite sick. i am a member of newspring (not newsprings, get it right) and the comments made here about our church are not only wrong but completely rude. if you have all of these questions why dont you try going to our church! perry is an excellent guy! the best pastor, leader, and friend you could ask for! he does make his salary public along with all the other expenses for church! ive seen it!! he has nothing to hide! hes all about reaching people for JESUS! which is why we had to expand to greenville. if you hate this idea you're going to love it when the campus opens in florence! you people who go to church strictly for the "people" and the "business meetings" and the pews with your name on it are obviously going for the wrong reason! Jesus died for you on the cross, rose on the third day and you should be excited and ready to tell everybody! not worrying about things that dont matter like how much the pastors house cost! ok i feel better now.
