"Don't rat on your own son?" UseCommonSense, I had to read this 3 or 4 times to make sure I was seeing what you had written. That is what is wrong with youth today, we as parents and grandparents, try to protect our children, which is a good thing, but protect them from harm. The father did the right thing in this situation. I would have done the same thing. My grandson got into a situation at school where the law was called, when I was called up there, he had told most of the truth, I took him aside, and told him, "you have been caught, now you might as well tell them the whole story." which he did. he still has to go to court, and he knows what might happen. He is scared and rightly so, he did wrong and deserves to be punished, and whatever the judge gives him, I will support the system 100%. The only way we can raise out children to do right, or better, is, to let them know from the "get go," that they have to be responsible for thier actions. I don't think you should call "Mary" but maybe a pastor or counsler that can give you some direction. To the child who did this, I hope you learned a lesson from this and not let it get you down, but lift your head up and try to do better.

Lovley, that's all we need!!! Think I will just go hide out in my house for the rest of my live!!!! Go get-em boys!!! ACDC needs more crooks like that, they cannot handle the ones they have there now.

I went to Walgreens today, and when i got to the check-out counter, there was a lady two customers ahead of me. she was coughing and sneezing,(in-to her hands). Then the money was exchanged with the cashier. Then the lady ahead of me exchanged monies with the cashier. When it was my turn to be checked out, I had my hand sanitizer out and ready to use after exchanging monies. this really bothers me that people are so unconcerned about spreading germs. I feel that cashiers should be trained to use hand sanitizer after someone like that exchanges monies with them. And again, that is just my opinion. (:

Lorin, I am so proud of you, as I read this story, tears just poured down my cheeks, feeling bad that you had to go through this time, and tears of joy for the happiness you have found. Also, tears for my daughter who is still out there living the life that you lived, I, like your parents, have her children, 'two wonderful grandsons' who mean the world to me, who, in return love me, and I know they miss thier mama. Just about ever day the youngest one says to me, 'when can we go live with mama again?' It breaks my heart to know that they are hurting so bad, but I just try to love them more, and reassure them, that, one day,,,'mama' will be able to take care of them again. My prayer for her every day is, that one day, "soon" she will hit 'rock bottom' and realize, like you that there is more to life than drugs, and the lifestyle that she is living.
God bless you and your beautiful "Katie Grace" as you go forward in a peacefull and happy life. My prayers are with you.

I have 2 grandson's who are 11 and 8, and it makes me shudder to think of what the world is going to be like when they become teenagers. I just hope and pray that they, will be 'man' enough to stand up for what is right and remember thier upbringings. They say it is not how your children are raised, it is what they take with them to thier adult years. What the world need is a good 'old fashion' revival. I feel so sorry for these guys parents. My heart goes out to them. Lets remember them in prayer to have the strength to go forward.

Tidwink: You might have Tammy mistaken for me,,,, I am proud to say that I buy some of my clothes at goodwill, and am proud to wear them...lol..seems like you are jealous of someone elses happiness. I hope that one day you will have a different outlook on life,,,Tammy is one of my best friends and deserves all the happiness in the world...You Go Tammy and Barry!!!!!!
