"Ceremonite" It's an evening ceremony. Gee, I thought everyone knew that. The newspaper is certainly up to date.
And I agree with the other comments. Wish the two holdouts would ride off into the sunset with the rest of the departed.

The review said nothing about the quality of the food or the service, just that there was a wide variety of choices, and be patient because they are busy.
Reviews on our neighborhood website are not favorable and conversations I've had with friends are either one extreme or the other. I still don't know if I want to eat there. Guess it's just another middle of the road place to stop and eat.

What a joke this article is. No one is going to be quoted saying business is bad. Our home offices forbid it. Walmart is doing okay because of the discount nature of it's business. And while I don't believe it, Target might have squeaked through to meet sales goals that are based on loses to last year.
However, profit compared to goals (last year) is way off for everyone. You can't discount the way retailers have this year and make more profit. Your objective is to liquidate your older inventory at as little a loss as possible.
I work in retail, my family works in retail, and my friends work in retail. This is a terrible Holiday selling season. Kohls and Dillards are new so there are no "last year" sales figures to compare to. However, just get Sears, JCPenney, and Belk to confess their true sales results, and you would be looking and a totally different picture than this article paints.
And the retail lay-offs are but a week or two away.

Very poor editorial. It misses the mark by giving the impression that this recent process is okay.
Where are your standards? Do you not have high expectations of you government?

First, let me state that I both own firearms, and have a concealed weapons permit.
But how the state government came up with this when there are so many more important and possibly supportive steps available to help people in this sour economy is beyond belief.
I am not sure how to accurately describe my reaction. Stunned is the closest adjective that comes to mind.

I feel bad for the employees. Management has screwed up that company.
While Best Buy has it's opportunities at times, it's miles ahead of Circuit City for the total level of customer service it provides.
It's a rough, competative business as Circuit City has learned.

Yes, thank God I'm not in that district. You like Gracie, you're welcome to her.
