MOST PEOPLE who make generalized statements like yours are just ignorant. Can you fix ignorant? I personally don't know anyone (man or woman) who I would lump into the category of this alleged child molester. You sound a little bitter, but don't blame most men for your bad experiences especially when we are discussing a child molester.

Re: "no shortage of this type of crime in the great state of South Carolina"...you must not watch the news very often or you would know South Carolina doesn't have the monopoly on this type of crime. And you're right, this is a great state, at least as great as any other. I see these types of crimes (or worse if there is such a crime) on the news daily and they are from all over the nation. My heart goes out to this child and the surviving child. There are so many wonderful people who would make great parents that can't have children, and then you have these sickos who treat children like this.

It is proven that a teenager's ability to make rational and logical decisions is not fully developed until the early 20's. I have 2 teenagers and can believe it. I'm glad she's ok and I hope she will learn a lesson. Parents should stress these things over and over.

The Brisket is my favorite. You're right, that can be hard to find. The barbecue is also very lean. But I love to get the brisket especially when you get a lot of the outside part of it with all the seasonings on it. I think I know where I will be having supper tonight!

I agree 100%!!! I work for another hospital in the area (former employee of AnMed,too) and can testify that when a hospital looks ratty and outdated, these are the very things people will complain about first on the survey forms. Yes, these are read and acted on if possible. If you stop and think about it, what if the other local businesses tried to run off of only half of their customers paying for services? They wouldn't be around for long. As usual, the ones who pay also pay for the ones who don't or can't. But we will continue to care for everyone.

I am sitting at my desk eating my lunch laughing so hard at some of these posts I'm choking on my meatloaf sandwich. The Klan? They're a joke that puts a bad light on The South. But they're are not the only racist organization. There are plenty more that don't involve white people. Besides all of that...I'm glad the suspect was caught and if he is guilty I hope he gets the maximum.
