As long as the Anderson County Council turns a blind eye and deaf ear to the crime crises in our county. No real solution can be found. If we are going to arrest offenders and keep them locked up, we have to have a new county jail. If we are going to present an effective obstable to lawbreakers, we have to be willing to spend the money to do so. Sheriff Crenshaw has tackled the crime problem head on and it has cost real money. it is going to continue to do so whether he is the sheriff or Skipper's bid for election is successful. The only difference is that Sheriff Crenshaw is honest about it, and Skipper would have you think that he can institute all these changes without any more money. Wow!!, if he only could achieve that goal. Sheriff Crenshaw has my vote for as long as he is doing the job. As for the County Council, I will vote for anyone who really supports our local law enforcement.

Again, once again, let me advise the public that the, often revered, stars and bars was not the "battle flag" of the land army. It was the "battle flag" of the confederate navy. In addition allow me the opinion that the only flag that should ever fly in America is the "Stars and Stripes, Old Glory".
