Since the NCAA stands for National Collegiate Athletic Association and NOT high School I feel they should keep their noses out of High School athletics. When (and ONLY when) an athlete gets to the college level should they have to abide by the decisions of the NCAA. A person should not have to abide by the rules of an organization of which they are a part. The high school players have a right to go to the school of their choice and to get scholarships however they can. By forbidding college recruiters from seeing them playing, they are denying a student the opportunity to get an education. THIS IS WRONG ! !

Does this mean that the people who have been paying twice as much for their water will have to cut back TWICE as much as the rest? Or would it be HALF as much. I hate this "new math"...

Or the several million that the sheriff's department went over budget? Why don't the schools just write checks and then say "oops"???

Somebody somewhere had to have cashed all those checks. Why not find out who and go after them PERSONALLY. It may have been a corporation but the buck has to stop somewhere. You might be surprised what kinda money people can come up with when confronted by a couple hundred mad people on the front steps.

If Anderson University wants to keep using the stadium you would think that THEY would come up with the $70,000 or shut down their baseball program. It would be much cheaper to buy the seats than to build their own stadium or is my math really that bad?

On Seats might be coming up at Anderson Memorial Stadium

I thought the elected officials were elected in order to vote the will of the people and NOT their own agenda. I have never smoked but I feel its not the government's business to tell people they can't do or allow something that is totally legal. Its okay to consume alcohol which could injure someone else other than the drinker by allowing the person to drive away from an establishment. When are we going to wake up and tell government to do it job. THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE....

Why not wait and name the next NEW road after him? After all, there is an MLK Blvd. in almost every town I have ever been in.

“I think the thing to keep in mind is that we own the property,” Mayor Roberts said.
Mr Roberts needs to remember that governments CAN NOT own property but are only stewards of the property. I get so tired of hearing goverment officials saying "we own the property". Have they never read the words "We the people"?????????

On Anderson green space plan is a go, sort of
